IP knob in Mac toolbar
<div class="IPBDescription">missing button</div>I have installed Lion on my Macbook Pro and I like the new platform, however there are a few hiccups which came with it.
Compatibility is an issue.
I had to download a few upgrades to get the system up and working again.
This also happened to 1Password.
However after installing the upgrade I saw that the IP-knob in the Mac toolbar was missing.
This is bad news!
after a few updates, I found the knob. This time it has been planted in the toolbar of the browser.
The use of this button is very difficult if you use f.e. Mail as an e-mail client.
I have to start the browser when collecting my e-maIL
COULD YOU POSSIBLY GIVE US BACK THE CONVENIENT BUTTON IN THE MAC TOOL BAR?

Welcome to the forums, Lance!
Thanks for taking the time to ask about this. I'm not sure I understand the issue completely, though.
While 1Password previously did offer a menu icon (next to all the menus at the very top edge of the screen), it would have never been available when you were using Apple's Mail client that comes with OS X. It was only available in supported web browsers.
The new extensions are not able to place an icon in that same location any more but still use the browser toolbar as they always have.

I will take your post as a feature request for a system-wide feature like some sort of Auto-Type, but this was not previously available in earlier versions either. There has not yet been a way to have 1Password fill your information anywhere outside of supported browsers, but this is something we have been looking at for a future version.
Please let me know if I have misunderstood or if there is anything else I can help with!Flag 0
