Autosubmit filling extra unnecessary stuff

When I hit submit 1P fills my email address again in the serial number box. I have edited the entry so that it does not auto submit but it does it anyway and I get the error.

    Hi ejr,

I just tried this with the latest extension and 1Password build and after saving some fake details 1Password correctly filled an e-mail address and password into correct fields without touching the 'Old Serial Number' field.

So, with that said, can you try re-saving your login details manually like so:

Enter your e-mail address and password but do not submit the form

Click the '1P' icon in Safari's toolbar

Click the '+' button in the top-right of the interface, next to the 'Logins' title

Optionally double-click the title field to name your Login as you see fit

Click 'Save' and you'll see the details of the newly saved Login item
If you then reload the page you should be able to select the newly saved Login from the extension and the details should be filled correctly. Once you're happy this works, make sure you delete the old Login from within 1Password.

    I hope that helps,

    Ok, reserving did the trick.

    Thanks.
  • Good to hear, ejr, glad to hear that did the trick for you.
