All subdomains listed as possible logins

I used to only get one or a few choices for logging into a specific web site, however now I get a huge list.



Example:



x.y.com



Used to give me one or a couple/few login choices.



Now I get all y.com choices.



Any way to revert to the much more easy way to login?

Actually THIS is the easy way... how many subdomains can you possibly have? 5? they are not so many and you can just scroll the list.

On the other hand, how often happens that you sign in the main domain and the you need the same user/pass in all the subdomains? to me quite often and if the match is exact, as you would like, I would need to save different logins and update each of them independently when I update the password.



The problem is that in my case it doesn't work!

I have a login for http://www.deutschepost.de and when I'm asked to put my user/pass for the website https://internetmarke.deutschepost.de the Safari extension 3.7b16 shows nothing in the list!

As it may be obvious from both of your posts, balancing domain matching so that it meets the needs of all users can be a bit tricky. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':wink:' />



We made some improvements which have been helpful to the majority of folks, but it isn't perfect for everyone.



omar, try saving a new Login for the separate URL. 1Password won't fill a secure Login (https) in an insecure form (http) or vice versa. We are also looking into [url="http://forum.agilebits.com/index.php?/topic/2670-feature-request-linked-accounts/"]Linked Accounts[/url] which would allow you to use multiple URLs for one set of credentials.
