Setting up auto-login after the fact / javascript forms
in Mac
So I've created a few 1Password entries manually, and now want to enable the "Go and Fill" shortcuts by telling 1Password to hit the right page.
In general, this works well with normal forms that GET or POST to the server... but in some cases, such as epost.ca, the "submit" button actually triggers a javascript function that tries to login. Despite having manually mapped the username and password fields, when I try to auto-fill, nothing happens (besides the "error" sound effect).
Any suggestions on getting this to work smoothly?
Another example is actually these forums -- while I had 1Password add an account when I signed up, it doesn't know how to fill in the "Login" dialog that pops up. I'm pretty sure that's because I haven't mapped the fields correctly yet... but maybe there is an easier way?

Hi lieut_data
Please try this: navigate to the site, fill in the relevant information, click the 1P button in your toolbar, and then click on the "+" in the upper right hand corner. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />Flag 0 -
Aha! Worked wonderfully (although, in Firefox, the steps are to click the 1P and then 'Save Login...')
Thanks for the amazing feedback on this forum!Flag 0
