Backup to Network Drive

I know a long time ago you guys made the decision to not allow 1Password to backup to Network Drives any longer. I can't remember why you made that decision. Is there any chance that this will get re-added to 1Password in the near feature. I really don't like to have 50 copies of a 55MB file on my local drive. I use Dropbox to store my 1Password file, so I've ignored the Backup feature for a while knowing that Dropbox keeps versions on hand. I'd still like to backup 1Password though. I don't use external drives except for a Time Capsule and a DroboFS. I've even tried to use ExpanDrive to trick 1Password into thinking it was a local drive, but it is to smart for that <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />.

Thanks

    Hi Brant,

50 backups! Wow! Sounds like you could probably go through and delete some of the older ones. For data integrity reasons, 1Password does not support storing your data on network or removable drives. There may be hacks to get around this restriction, but I wouldn't recommend it. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

    Thanks
