That's just stupid on their part.

Just to clarify, I said this was the feeling I had. At no point did any of the Safari engineers state the above sentiments. They are very well trained to answer with "open a bug report if this is important to you".

Perhaps if everyone who reads this thread opens a bug report, we can show them how important this is?

    Apologies, my mistake.

    I just filed a bug: https://bugs.webkit....ug.cgi?id=66077

I'm hoping that this gets accepted. Perhaps if a few of the 1Password developers could complement the thread with some additional information, I'm just an end-user in this case.

I'd refrain from filing multiple bugs. It goes against their guidelines and imho is bad netiquette.
  • Hi friends,

    I have a question to render my work more easy <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

I need to save login from my routers web pages ,so I can modify setting

I have noticed that this problem is shown every time I have to fill login credential on a pop up window....when,for example, on my router web pages,I press something that ask for login credential, it open a pop up window where I can fill login credential

in this case, 1 password don't fill login credential

1 password fill login credential only on a router web page login windows

  • Seems that the bug report got a bit of attention, api@webkit was CC"ed and so was an engineer at Apple. Who know...

We're not holding our breath, but it would be simpler if the functionality was available in the extension APIs than trying to work around it by Some Other Means. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';-)' />
