Locating the Database file
My system crashed and I'm trying to reinstall files. When I start up a new copy of 1Password it asks where to look for the file holding the passwords. I would like to know the extension so that I can do a search of my drives for a backup copy. Please advise what I'm searching for. Thanks, Craig

Welcome to the forums, Craig!
1Password data files are named 1Password.agilekeychain by default. The .agilekeychain extension is important, but the name itself (preceding the period) can be anything you choose. The default location of the data file is:
~/Library/Application Support/1Password/1Password.agilekeychain
If you previously set up Dropbox syncing, you can simply reinstall Dropbox, wait for it to finish syncing, and 1Password will detect and use your data automatically. If you have not previously been using Dropbox, it may be something to consider for situations like this in the future.
I hope that helps. Please let me know.
