• Hi folks,

unfortunately I have the same problem and it is not fixed by going through your suggestions. The login shows up in the menu, but not in the 1Password list of logins.

Also, can you not update logins any more? It only asks for creating a new login, in previous versions I could also update an existing one.

I'm sorry that you are having this problem, Dieter, but I am glad you signed up for the forums in order that we can get it properly resolved. I split your posts from the unrelated threads and merged them together here because I believe the two issues are related on your machine.

The first thing I would try is restarting the agent in 1Password (Help > Troubleshooting > Restart Agent).

If that does not do the trick, please remove the Safari extension as described in our User Guide, update 1Password, and reinstall the extension carefully following the steps in the User Guide. Each step is crucial especially when you have been having some trouble like this. Simply reinstalling the extension may not be enough, there are additional steps which are important. Again, please follow the steps in the User Guide carefully.

The new extension does not support an "update" mechanism yet, but we are working on this. For now you will need to save a new Login or edit the existing one (both of which can now be done within the extension itself).

Please let me know how it turns out and what version of 1Password and the Safari extension you are using.

    Cheers,
