1Password crashes on Verizon iPhone
1Password crashes almost every time I use it. Below I'm posting prior communications. This has been an ongoing problem and a delete and reinstall has not fixed it. In addition, I have rebooted many times. If there are logs that I can pull that will help track down this problem let me know. I would be happy to use Xcode to look at crash reports on my phone to get this resolved.

I have done these steps and I'm still having the problem. This is on my Verizon iphone 4 (iOS version 4.2.10). Seems to occur very consistently. When looking up the 1Password version (3.5.9) to draft this mail it crashed 3 times. I don't have problems with any other apps crashing. I've waited a bit hoping for an update, but it's been a while. Any other ideas on how to get this fixed.

Note that following this procedure will erase any data stored in the 1Password app on your iOS device, so you'll have to set up your master password and Dropbox syncing again. If you do not sync with Dropbox, you will want to make sure to backup your data before performing this procedure:

Then you can click the X in the top left corner to uninstall 1Password. Once 1Password disappears, you can press the home button to stop the icons from jiggling. You can then either re-sync the 1Password app over from your computer, or download a fresh copy from the App Store (note: even though the button still says "Buy," you won't actually be charged a 2nd time).

Hey there, Ray! Welcome to the forums! <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />
I am sorry to hear you are having this issue. We have received very few reports of this sort of thing, so we haven't been able to track down a cause. You can locate the crash reports (which are sync'd with iTunes) by following this guide. If you can send those to us, it may help us get to the bottom of this. We received some data regarding a similar-sounding issue involving an iPad 2, and it turned out that 1Password wasn't crashing at all -- iOS was running out of memory. Just reply to your email and attach the reports and we will be happy to look into it. And feel free to send me a private message with the email address you are using to contact us and I will make sure we get back to you as soon as we can. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />Flag 0 -

Hey there, lhotka! Are you on a Verizon iPhone as well? If you can send us the crash reports (as outlined above) to support@agilebits.com it may help us narrow down a cause. I am sorry for the inconvenience.

Yep, on a Verizon one - I'll try to get the crash logs tomorrow. It happens when I start scrolling after reactivating the app.Flag 0 -
I need to let you know that given the situation with the MAS store issue, and having to likely drop 1Password for an alternative, I probably won't spend the time to deal with the logs (I'll spend it looking for/migrating to, an alternative). If things change, or I find time, i'll send them in.Flag 0

Thanks for letting us know, lhotka. I am sorry to hear that. If you change your mind and you want to work with us to get this (and 1Password MAS) up and running for you, just let us know. We're here for you! <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />Flag 0
