safari extension in 1P app package
just for curiosity,
1. why there is the extension within the app package if the new installation routine is via the web?
2. why this "internal" extension is still 3.7b16 when the final 3.7 version is out?
3. how would one install extension now w/o internet connection?
thanks

Hi vitaly,
We haven't fully migrated to the "web-only" extension installation method. We are moving in that direction for a couple of reasons (one being to reduce the download size of the main 1Password app).
I'm not sure what you mean by "internal" extension?
You probably wouldn't install the extension without an internet connection. Why would you need 1Password without an internet connection? <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />
Thanks

i meant internal - having the extension inside the app package.
true, one cannot use extension w/o internet, but one might want to install everything and be ready for when the internet becomes available.
anyway, the extension does add that much to the app size i think, i terms of download time

Hey vitaly,
Good points, all. Thanks for your suggestion. We want to keep the application size as small as practicable, but we are always open to reconsidering our current structure.
Cheers!
