One website - Multiple user logon names

Hello-

Just downloaded 1password on my brand new MAC Air.

I use a website but I have 3 different login names and passwords for this single website, it does not appear that 1password is able to handle this.

Any suggestions?

  • Donna,

1Password can certainly handle this, you just need to save a new Login item for each of the sets of credentials. The first question is which browser you're using at the moment?
  • Morning Stu-

I just got new Mac Air, playing around with using Safari, Firefox and/or Chrome.

I have not been able to create a NEW login Item for the other set of credentials. In Safari it already shows one and will not add a 2nd.

Can 1password be used in Firefox and Chrome? I don't see the symbol.

Please try saving the login manually like this:

    1. Enter your username and password, but DO NOT submit the form.

    2. Click the 1Password button in your browser's toolbar, and select the "+" button in the upper right hand corner.

    3. Change the title and make any notes (if desired).

    4. Click the Save button in the upper right hand corner.

1Password can be used in Firefox and Chrome, you'll just need to install the extensions for them. 1Password > Install Browser Extensions from the 1Password menu bar should open the page you can do that from.
