The iOS security model does not allow 1Password to fill third-party apps or Mobile Safari

Hi docjfnoel,
Welcome to the forums. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />
It's simply not possible to integrate with other apps on the iOS platform. This is an intentional restriction that Apple put in place when designing the system.
Have you see this tutorial on how to login to web pages using 1Password touch?

iOS applications are sold exclusively by Apple, not by us. If you do decide that you want a refund, you will need to contact iTunes support for help with that.
Thanks

I have 1password on my MacBook Pro.
I've bought 1password for iPhone and iPad after reading many reviews on the net.
But really, it is useless...
If you can't find a way to integrate third party apps AND Safari, it's too much of a pain to use...
I want my money back!

I agree that it would be great if Apple would allow 3rd party developers to hook into Mobile Safari, just like Safari on my Macs. But as Ben said, that's Apple's call, not AgileBits. I would suggest that you tell Apple that you want this feature here - http://www.apple.com/feedback/ . I send them suggestions all the time (but do they listen to me? <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /> ).
1P on the iPhone/iPad is indispensable to me, since I'm always doing shopping/banking on my mobile devices, so it's essential that I have access to my passwords all the time from everywhere. I sync up the 1P logins thru Dropbox, which works fantastic, instantly keeping everything in sync over my 7 devices. I can update the logins or create new ones on any device and have them appear almost immediately everywhere else. Much much better than WiFi sync IMO.

Thanks for the link, Michael -- and the kind words! I am sure they get a lot of requests, but maybe if enough folks bug them about the same thing for long enough they will relent. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />
I am personally a Dropbox convert. Before I started using it I didn't get what the big deal was, but now I have no idea how I ever lived without it! <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />Flag 0 -

Describe your problem to the iTunes Store support and you will most likely get a refund (AgileBits cannot give you a refund I guess).

That's right. Apple doesn't provide the devs the names of the folks who order their products. Apple retains all that info, and is the only one that can give you a refund.Flag 0 -
You are correct, Omen. While the App Store is incredibly convenient and streamlined, we just don't have the flexibility or access to be able to help folks directly with these issues as we are able to through our own store. I hope you folks are able to get your issues resolved to your satisfaction through Apple.Flag 0
