Firefox 6: How to remove old 1Password extensions for FF4 and FF5? [Resolved by removing old FF pro
in Mac
Hi !
Hope you can help to solve my problem ...
In Firefox 6, I can still find the old 1P-extensions 3.8.0 for Firefox 4 and 5 ...
they are deactivated, but I would like to remove them !
I tried to remove them with the add ons-manager of Firefox 6 ... first it seemed to work ...
after restarting FF they were not there anymore .... but later (I think after rebooting the system)
the plugins are back !
Any idea ?
Best regards and thanks a lot from pixelbuddy

Welcome to the forums, pixelbuddy!
I am not sure why they would come back; Firefox should be able to remove them. Can you look in this folder (in your Home folder) and see what's there?
Library/Application Support/Firefox/Profiles/<your_profile_id>/extensions/
The "your_profile_id" part is generated by Firefox; most often you only have one.
Once in that folder, you should see the onepassword@agilebits.com folder for the Firefox 6 extension. Do you also see firefox4@1password.com and firefox5@1password.com? If so, you can move them to your Desktop so Firefox cannot find them.

Hi again !
I was able to locate the folders firefox4@1password.com and firefox5@1password.com... moved them to the desktop but left onepassword@agilebits.com ...
- Thank you very much for the advice !!!
Will observe Firefox now and come back to tell you if it worked <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />
