1pass and closing browser question

Why does the 1password extension does not terminate/close when closing the browser? After unlocking 1password in the browser if I close it and reopen the same browser again within a few minutes I don"t have to reenter my password to unlock 1password. I thought the extension is automatically closed when closing any browser. I see that in Firefox 6 and Safari 5.1...

On the other hand, SRWARE Iron prompts you for a password to unlock every time you restart the browser - and I think that's the way it should be.

By default, Universal Unlock is enabled. This feature allows you to unlock 1Password once and only once, and have it lock everywhere when you manually lock 1Password or your Autolock preferences are triggered.

If you'd like to disable this, go to 1Password > Preferences > Security and enable the Disable automatic unlock for all applications checkbox.
