Can't open Knox via account login items

I've added Knox to my account login items, but it doesn't show up in the menu bar when I log in. I have to open Knox manually. When I check the Account Preferences pane, Knox is mysteriously missing from the Login Items list. I've tried adding Knox a couple of times, with similar results.

Other menu bar apps automatically open. Is there a security feature in Knox that prevents auto login?

It might be that Knox is removing itself from the logins item because Knox's preference is set not to log in. You might want to go to Knox itself and have it set to login so that it doesn't delete itself.

Hi MikhailT, Your suggestion did the trick. After clicking the appropriate Preferences checkbox, the Knox icon appeared in my menubar this morning. Thanks for your help. (The wording in the Preferences checkbox is rather cryptic. Most Mac apps say "Open at login".) SHM

99% of Knox hasn't changed at all since Agile bought them from the original developer a short while ago, so hopefully Agile see this and adjust it because you're right about that.

This is a very good point. I just changed this (rather cryptic) text to "Start on login". Update to get this fix and others ones as well :)
