Show passwords in 1Password app, rather than dots?

Whenever I run 1Password, I spend most of my time copying the "protected" passwords (displayed as dots) and pasting them into Stickies, just so I can see what they are. Is there a way to turn this "protected" mode off, so I can view my passwords in cleartext right on-screen?

Thanks.

Take a look at the "View" options in the menu bar when you're in 1Password.

    Hi gmaletic and derekJAB,

You are absolutely correct that you can set whether passwords are to be concealed or revealed in the View menu. Another lesser known ability is that you can temporarily switch this by holding down the option key. So if you just want to take a quick look at a password, just press the option key.

    Cheers,
