Location of 1Password.agilekeychain file on Mac

Hi. I am trying to locate the 1Password.agilekeychain file on my Mac. The 1Password FAQ website says it is stored in xxx/Library/Application Support/1Password, where xxx is my user library. When I open Finder, however, and try to navigate to this location, there is no folder named 1Password under Application Support. Is the 1Password folder and 1Password.agilekeychain file somehow invisible to Finder? Thank you

    Hi pomme4moi,

    Try this:

    Open Finder

Select Go > Go to Folder...

    Enter: ~/Library/Application Support/1Password

    Hit return/enter or click Go

This should take you to the 1Password application support folder.

    Hope that helps.

    Ben

P.S. The Library folder inside of your "home directory" (aka ~, aka your user folder) is hidden starting with Lion.
  • This worked. Thank you!

    No problem, thanks for the update <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />
  • I have the same problem. When I follow the instructions I get a "the folder cannot be found message."
  • If you have 1Password already installed and running you can go to 1Password > Preferences > General you'll see the path to your 1Password data file, the 1Password.agilekeychain file as Ben described, available to you can locate this within Finder.

    I hope that helps,
