Fluid 1.2 and 1Password 3.8.1 ?

I just installed Fluid 1.2 and I read on 1Password 3.8.1 macupdate page that "1Password fully supports most web browsers, including Safari, OmniWeb, DEVONagent, Firefox, Flock, Fluid, and NetNewsWire."

How do I make 1Password 3.8.1 work with Fluid 1.2 ?

  • I'd like to know the same. I just switched to Lion and I can't figure out how to get my passwords in my Fluid apps now.
  • Because of some changes in Lion unfortunately we can't support Fluid in Lion, though we will certainly look into some options for the future, but I just can't promise when this will be available.

If you're using Snow Leopard, then Fluid should still be supported, so please let me know if that's the case and we can work on a solution for you, hopefully nothing major has changed with Fluid 1.2 that breaks support.
  • I upgraded to 1P 3.8.1 and my Fluid apps no longer work with 1P on Snow Leopard.
  • I've just confirmed with my colleague, as I don't have Snow Leopard easily available on this system, and he tells me that 1Password 3.8.2 should have no issues with Fluid 1.2.

Can you make sure that you have the 'Enable additional browser extensions' option checked under 1Password > Preferences > Browsers and then click 'Install Browser extensions' as you can see here:

Make sure you restart Fluid after installing the extensions so that everything is reloaded properly.

I have no such checkbox in 1password 3.8.3 (build 31131) on Lion:

I also do not get any contextual menu option from within Fluid to invoke 1password. I have to open 1password app, unlock it, find the site in question, copy the password, and manually enter the info into every Fluid app. #sadpanda
