Can't auto fill Crucial.com

This was a problem on Snow Leopard with Firefox 5 (and I think 4), but thought I'd mention it while you're busy fixing other pop up access login problems.

Crucial.com changed their login a few months back, and I've not been able to use 1password since. Clicking login brings up a popup, and then using 1password to fill does nothing.

Similar issue. 1Password will fill most of my various logins, but not this one:

  • Same for me with webfusion UK VPS control panel login - I try it a few times, then the server locks me out for too many attempts! Bloody pain.

    Hi bagpuss,

I was able to save the login in Safari 5.1 and then attempt to fill it in Firefox 6. The good news is that it works correctly now. Right now, we're attempting to fix a bug with the manual save/autosave function in Firefox 6 extension, so it may not work out of the box but if you were to save it in Safari 5.1 first and then move to Firefox 6, it'll work correctly.

Can you tell us a few of those sites, we'd like to add them to our list, so that we can update our extension to work better on your sites.
Hi Cglassel,

This is a known limitation of our new extensions, it will not work with the http auth/htaccess web sites. We're looking into a solution to support those type of prompts but I do not have a timeframe on this.

Is it possible for us to look at your control panel login? Does it use the HTTP Auth prompts like Cglasel's screenshot in the previous post? If it does, please read above for my answer to cglasel's issue.

I buy RAM from crucial.com a couple of times a week and I've been frustrated by not being able to login or fill in my credit card info with 1Password and Firefox for quite some time. I finally just tried re-adding my login with Safari, and while they still don't work with Firefox, both the login and credit card info were filled successfully.
