Hello Peter and fatheroz. Welcome to the Forums!
Peter - you do not need to be running Lion. However, there early problems with Snow Leopard & Safari 5.1 where launching an entry from within the 1Password application would open but not Fill credentials on a site. That issue was resolved with version 3.7.2. Since you indicated that you are using 3.7.5, this should not apply to you. However, please update to our latest version, 3.8.1, and confirm that you are still experiencing the same problems.
That being said, neither of you should be experiencing this problem with 1Password and Safari 5.1
Please reply and let us know which version of the 1P Safari extension you are using. You can find the version number in the Safari menu in Safari > Extensions. Click on the 1Password extension and note the version number.
I look forward to hearing back from you both.
Cheers!

Hey Peter,
You were refused? What did the error message say? This is odd, indeed.
A screen shot would be helpful, but not necessary.
Thanks.

I just want to chime on how frustrating 1password has become. I really don't feel like questing 30mn in the forums trying to find what's wrong with my combination of (your system here/your browser here) .
The point is that 1passwd used to work just fine, and now it doesn't.
I understand that you had a lot of tech hurdles to go through and needed to change some fundamental aspects of the software, but letting the user experience all these hurdles is just …[expletives here] . I'm sure you knew pretty well it was not to function properly and my point is: a wrong business decision was done to pull the trigger on this final version.
1passwd used to be great and seamless, it has now become a frustrating piece of software that holds me hostage of the hundreds of passwords it now contains, and waste my time every single time I'm thinking of using it. And it's done so for at least the last couple of month - or so it feels.Flag 0 -
Hi stephantran,
I understand your frustration but the choice was 1) release the extensions as they are, or 2) don't release any extensions at all for Firefox 6 and Safari 5.1. I understand there are some things that are broken with the new extensions, but is that not better than having no extensions at all?
We're working very hard to improve the user experience with the extensions and if you have any specific feedback on how we can improve that has not already been posted here we would be happy to hear it. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

Hello vpeterj,
I am really not sure why you are experiencing this trouble.
To help us track down the issue more quickly, could you please email us your Diagnostics Report? To generate the report from 1Password on your Mac, open 1Password and select Help > Troubleshooting > Diagnostics Report. Then attach the entire file to an email addressed to support@agilebits.com.
Please include a link to this thread in your email message so that we can "connect the dots."
Cheers!

Hi Peter,
I'm sorry that we didn't get back to you faster.
Please check your email for my response, it looks like the extension was never installed for Safari 5.1 on your system. After updating 1Password and installing the extension again, it should then work correctly.
I'm not sure what's going on with your iPad, you can reply to the email instead of here and we'll take care of you.Flag 0
