Cannot Install Safari Extension

Using latest Snow Leopard with latest Safari on two Macs. I cannot install the browser extension.

I updated 1Pass, restarted it, my Mac, my browser. Turned on extensions in Safari, allowed autoupdating.

I clicked on the update browser extension, click through on Safari and then download... then NOTHING. All I get is a dark browser window with some file name in the address bar.

What is this nonsense? The FAQ doesn't help - followed all those instructions. I'm pretty upset I can't get direct support and w/o browser extensions, 1Password is useless.

Hello umijin and welcome to the Forums!

The browser extension is downloaded to the location you selected as your download folder. The default location ~/Downloads

Once the extension is downloaded, please navigate to that location, and double-click the .safariextz file. This will initiate installation of the extension. Unlike when downloading within Firefox or Chrome, Safari does not auto-install the extension.

The current URL for downloading the stable Safari extension is: http://help.agilebit...ari.html?beta=n

The current URL for downloading the beta Safari extension is: http://help.agilebit...ari.html?beta=y

Please try these links, and manually install the extension, as I mentioned previously. Let us know if you are still having a problem with the install.

    Cheers!
