Unable to save new login, Kia site

Can't seem to figure this one out so need a little help here. For whatever reason (maybe because there's Flash on this login page) I'm unable to save a new login on the Kia site for owners. When I enter my email and password, it'll login to the site fine. But, 1Password doesn't recognize it's a unique site and isn't asking me to save the login.

The website is: https://www.kia.com/#/ownerLogin/

Thanks!

  • Hello vanmeje and welcome to the Forums!

Your instincts are on target. 1Password will not work with the Kia site because it uses Adobe Flash. 1Password is unable to save and restore logins for sites that use Adobe Flash. As far as we know, no browser password manager anywhere supports Flash-based sites because it is a proprietary solution and does not interface with the browser much at all.

I use a couple of Flash sites too, and I have to copy/paste my credentials each time I log in. I realize it is not optimal, but at this time, it is still the best way for me to feel secure about my password.

I'm sorry that I don't have a better answer for you at this time.

    Cheers!
