'|' cursor disappears when typing a reply to a post

Is anyone here having a problem in the forums with posting a reply? Most times when I compose a reply in the quick reply box at the end of the thread the blinking '|' will disappear completely if I use the arrow keys to move around in the text, forcing me to use my trackpad to reposition the cursor to where I can begin typing again.



I'm using Firefox 6 on an iMac with OS X 10.6.8 .

p.s. - the entry form that I'm using to type my post does *not* exhibit this problem

    It looks like it may be an issue peculiar to Snow Leopard. I can't reproduce it in Lion in either Firefox or Safari. Do you see the same behavior in Safari?

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
