Can no longer attach email

I suddenly find that I can no longer attach email to a 1Password application entry: when I try to drag one into the box (as I've always done), it will not stick. There is a curious band-aid icon on the upper right hand corner whose meaning escapes me.

    Does it work if you first drag the email message to your Desktop, and then drag it into 1Password?
