Missmatch between Safari Extension & Main App

Hi,

I am running OSX Lion with Safari 5.1 and have installed the 1Password extension (ver. 3.7)

There seems to be an issue with the sync between the extension and the main application database. When I save a login created when visiting any website in the extension, I cannot find it back in the main App.

I have been reading an article about a similar issue (though it refers to the extension being out of sync and not the other way round like I have), here (http://help.agilebits.com/1Password3/troubleshooting_the_extension.html#extension_data_does_not_match_the_main_application.

I have un-installed and then reinstalled the extension as recommended. The extension was then automatically upgraded back to ver. 3.7 and I'm experiencing the same issue all over again...

In my version of 1Password App (ver. 3.6.1 (build 31057)) I also cannot find the RESTART AGENT feature which is being described in the same "known issues" page documented above. (Help > Troubleshooting > Restart Agent)

Can anyone please let me know if there is a fix to this or if I'm just doing something wrong?

Right now, I have to keep passwords in both or keep copy pasting from the extension into the main app...

Thanks.

I'm having the same issue- I've deleted and cleaned up many logins that were similar or out of date and the extension is still showing the logins that I previously deleted in 1password.

    EDIT:

FYI - Upgrading the main app to 3.8.2 seems to have solved this issue

Your copy of 1Password is quite outdated. Please update to the latest version.

    1. Download 1Password from our web site:

    http://agilebits.com/downloads

Click on the "Download Now" button under "1Password 3"

    2. Quit your web browser and 1Password, if it's running

    3. Drag the newly downloaded version of 1Password to the same location as any previous one -- replacing it

    4. Run 1Password at least once and then your web browser

Your information is stored in a data file separate from the application, so it will not be harmed by this procedure.
