Not been asked for Master Password in Safari

Recently I have noticed that I do not get asked for the master password when I use 1P in Safari. It doesn't happen all the time but it really worries me that I can't rely on it locking. Even if I don't restart Safari after I update 1P surely it should default to locking the database.

    now thats a switch. most are complaining they can't get it to go away.

    Please make sure that your security settings are how you intend for them to be.

    1Password > Preferences > Security from the main app

    also

    1P > Settings (gear icon) > Enable Universal Unlock (if you want the extension to lock and unlock with the main app -- you probably do)
