Auto Submit <<Never>> still being ignored

I posted about this just over a week ago, but my post wasn't replied to, and has now been deleted.

I have an issue where I have a site which need UID, PWD and an RSA token. I need 1P to fill the first two, and pause long enough for me enter the third. It is currently auto submitting after the credentials held by 1P have been filled, and nothing I can do changes this.

I have the latest Beta build of 1P, the latest Safari plug-in.

I have tried turning auto-submit off entirely.

I have tried creating a new 1P entry.

This is my most frequently used site, and I really need some help. Please.

    Hi amjbrown,

Have you tried disabling auto-submit for that particular login? It can be disabled by editing the record in the main 1P app. There is a field with a drop down selector to change the auto-submit action.

This works fine for me in Safari, Firefox, and Chrome.

Yes, I have tried disabling auto-submit for that login (this has been working for years before the new Safari). I have also tried disabling auto-submit across the entire application. It still auto-submits on the website in question. It works as expected on other websites.

I want to give the website to someone at Agile to look at. Unfortunately I cannot post it publicly. I did explain this all in the post that was deleted <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' />

I was able to do exactly what you are looking to do.

    My setup:

    1Password 3.8.3.BETA-1

    1Password for Safari 3.8.1.b1

Please enable 1Password beta updates by selecting 1Password > Preferences > Updates > check the box for Include Beta Versions

Enable beta updates for the extension by going to https://agilebits.com/extensions/mac/index.html and on the right hand side check the box for allow beta extensions then click the button for Safari

Please try saving the login manually like this:

    1. Enter your username and password, but DO NOT submit the form.

    2. Click the 1Password button in your browser's toolbar, and select the "+" button in the upper right hand corner.

    3. Change the title and make any notes (if desired).

    4. Click the Save button in the upper right hand corner.

Open the main 1Password application, find the login you just saved, edit it, and change the "Submit" value to "Never."

After following these steps, the login worked perfectly for me, filling only the username and password then stopping.

All sorted. Followed your steps exactly, examined old and new entries and discovered that an extra field on the form was being populated with "auto" This is pre-filled by my site with the default value, and setting it was causing a refresh. Deleting the field fixed the problem.

    Many thanks.
