Can't Access Any Passwords with 3.8.2

Hi, I upgraded to 3.8.2 to run with Firefox 6.0.1 and Safari 5.0.5.



But now the browser extensions don't work with either browser. I can get the enter password pop-up, but when I try to enter my password I get an error "Agent not connected."



I've tried all the advice on the "1Password Troubleshooting Report" -- to no avail.



When I tried to install the latest extension in Chrome I got a message "Attempted to downgrade extension." (Maybe I have the beta there. )



Anyway, this is a big problem for me, as you can imagine. Any thoughts on the possible cause?

    First of all, you really need to update to Safari 5.1, it should be part of updates available through the Software Update tool from the Apple menu if not it's available to download from [url="http://www.apple.com/safari/"]Apple's site[/url]. Safari 5.1 has many security fixes and new features, it is also fully supported by our latest browser extensions.



    Once you have Safari 5.1 installed please install our latest extensions for both [url="https://agilebits.com/extensions/mac/safari.html?beta=n"]Safari[/url] and [url="http://agilebits.com/extension/download/Mac/firefox/beta"]Firefox[/url] and then restart both browsers once the installation is complete.



    You may also need to go to Help > Troubleshooting > Restart Agent from within 1Password 3.8.2 which should make sure everything is up and running.
