Preferences: browsers not showing

I have updated to the latest version of 1Password (3.8.2; Build 31121) and also to Firefox 6.0. I know that there are some issues regarding FF 6.0 and 1 Password. The question I have is that the Preferences:Browser window is now truncated. In other words there are no options to view installed browsers. I have searched on the forums but did not see this particular problem. See screen capture attached. Probably just overlooking something but I cannot figure it out.

Also where are preferences stored? I thought maybe the file might be corrupted.

I emailed Agile on Aug 18 but received no response.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Garry

  • Hi Garry,

That's how you should see 1Password > Preferences > Browsers. The new extensions are much more independent of 1Password itself, so there's actually no way for 1Password to know if these are installed.

When you click the 'Install Browser Extensions' option it should take you to this page where you can install the right extension for your browser.

In the case of Firefox 6 you may want to use our latest Beta version as this contains a number of fixes.

I hope that helps, and I do apologise we weren't able to get back to you sooner via e-mail, we're working as hard as we can to catch up.
  • Thanks for the feedback. I knew it was something simple. I guess the help menu needs to be updated as well because It still shows the expanded version, which is why I thought something was wrong in 1Password and I do understand about the delay in answering e-mails.
