Import from OSX Keychain Access

Hi!



I am new to 1Password.

I have lots of passwords stored in the OSX Keychain Access.

How do I get those passwords in 1password? I really don't want to type all that.

Thanks for your answer Ben, but that topic is about the Lion OSX, mine is snow leopard.



I still can't find a way to import my entries.

Hi Jonathan,



My understanding is that the problem is Safari 5.1, it's not OS specific (i.e. Snow Leopard vs Lion).

So there is no way to import my OSX Keychain Access Entries to my just bought 1Password?



How do I contact the company to have an oficial answer about this?

The customer center has nothing about contact.

The official answer is that it is not currently possible to import from the OS X keychain.

It's amazing there is NOTHING about importing OS X's keychain to 1password on the web's Guide, tutorial, FAQs... and that such a basic topic was so hard to find on the forum. It's also amazing that there is no way of importing OS X's keychain to 1Password, which is obviously the FIRST THING any user would want to do after installing the app.



I just downloaded to try it out, as I've read very good reviews and was looking forward to the discount on MAS, but this is an EPIC FAIL!, hope you soon find a workaround (I believe Apple might make it difficult too), but it's really the most basic thing on a keychain app: importing the OS's default keychain.
