1Password erratic behavior

I just thought I'd point out a site that 1Password fails to recognize: the [url="http://forum.devontechnologies.com/index.php?sid=eb2f120fe84f72516163a6778029e925"]DEVONtechnologies User Forum[/url]. The Safari (5.1) extension simply has no entry for the site. When I navigate to my login for that site through the Safari extension, my login entry is there. It's odd that 1Password doesn't recognize the site automatically. Further, it seems to me that once I click that, 1Password should log me in, but that isn't what happens. What happens is that a new (blank) login page is opened in Safari. This has happened with quite a few sites, but I thought I'd mention this one.



I have another problem with the banking site for my credit union: once I'm on the login page, 1Password recognizes the site and fills in my password, but the site returns an incorrect password error. But if I open 1Password, copy and paste the password in, I log in fine. This site has never presented a problem before.



Finally, I seem to remember that if I logged manually or with Safari autofill to a site for which I have information saved in 1Password, 1Password would leave me alone. Now it [i]always[/i] asks whether it should save the password, which it already has. I always dismiss this as I'm not sure what 1Password will do with duplicate information.



i don't know the constraints introduced to developers with 10.6.8 and Safari 5.1, I've been a long-time 1Password user and this is the most problematic update I've faced.

Silvermoonbeam, could you check, which URL you have saved for this entry in 1Password?



I have had [url="http://www.devon-technologies.com/"]http://www.devon-technologies.com/[/url] and changed it to http://forum.devontechnologies.com/. Now the log-in works as expected.
