1Password Current Nomenclature; 1P Safari Toolbar Button/Menu
What is the proper nomenclature for the 1P Safari button menu drop-down? Also, when I use Safari my toolbar is laden with buttons and I prefer to remove the 1P button for space consideration. This leaves the drop-down (Go & Fill?) menu available in the upper left-hand corner of the present Safari window. I would like to be able to reposition said menu to another location in the open Safari window and have it remain there unable I relocate it again. Is this doable? Thanks!

I believe the technical term for the new interface is a 'popover' you'll see this if you have the toolbar icon visible.
If you don't have the icon visible then you'll see an overlay window, as you describe, but as far as I know this can't be moved, I believe that's why we moved it to be a popover so you could move it with the toolbar icon.
Let me ask the developers about this one, I'm not a huge fan of toolbar clutter myself, so I only have extensions installed that I need, but we do need to make sure that 1Password is flexible for everyone.Flag 0 -
Well, for some reason Safari loses contact with 1P if you remove its Safari toolbar button. Can Dan make a 1x1 pixel Safari toolbar button the same color as Safari's toolbar so that I can keep it on the toolbar? <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />Flag 0

Have you seen the Apple HIG (human interface guidelines)? I think if we did that, Steve Jobs himself would smite us.
In all seriousness, this is something we can take a look at once the core functionality is figured out. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />Flag 0
