How to open old wallet in Time Machine backup?

I entered info in the wallet last February and deleted it in May, but I have Time Machine backups. How can I open and retrieve that info now? When I try, it seems like a previous version of the program is opening a current version of my wallet.

Thanks in advance for any help.

It sounds like you are trying to recover a specific entry from a previous 1Password database. Since the data is encrypted and stored in a data file, it won't be something you can retrieve individually.

Instead what you can do is restore a previous version of the keychain itself (Just make sure you launch 1Password and go to File > Backup Data File first!) from Time Machine if you know the time frame you are looking for. Once the old data file is recovered, you can copy the specific entry you need or export it using File > Export Selected > 1Password Interchange File... and after you have restored from the backup you just saved (File > Restore Data File from Backup), use File > Import > 1Password Interchange File add the recovered Wallet item to your current keychain.

If you are still having trouble, could you please send us a Diagnostics Report? You can generate one in 1Password on your Mac by going to Help > Troubleshooting > Diagnostics Report... Just attach this to an email (support@agilebits.com), and be sure to include any other details or screenshots you can as it will help us understand the problem better. Also, send me a private message here on the forum with the email address you used so I can find your message and take a look at it right away. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />
