1Password Extension 3 not working with Chrome.

Update to 1password 3 extension happened automatically. For me, the extension in Chrome asks for Master Password which it then tells me is in error. I've tried the suggested troubleshooting tips but they are all for Safari. The upgrade for Safari is working fine. I've reset folder permissions and 1Password agent... right out of ideas, so it looks like I have to downgrade again for the second time in two days ugh! <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' />

If anyone has any ideas I'd be very grateful.

I am having the exact same problem. It even says it is trying to downgrade the extension. What’s up with that?

Also, ever since this fiasco began, 1Password does not recognize any previous saved passwords. So it makes a duplicate copy in 1Password, which I have to delete one or the other. It’s as if 1 Password has never seen any site I have been to. This happens both in Safari and Chrome. Yes, I downloaded the latest version and installed the latest extensions.

I am really sorry about this, guys. We had a glitch in the extension update server over the weekend that cause some folks to be served the beta extension. The good news is we have since fixed this, so you should be able to uninstall the extension (Window > Extensions > 1Password > Uninstall) and then install the stable version again (1Password > Install Extensions) -- without having to worry about being updated again in error. I apologize for the inconvenience.
