Knox gets stock in dock

Hello,,

since my last few log-in, randomly Knox gets stuck in the dock without loading in my menu bar (as it should, as per my preferences)



the only thing I can do, is right click on the Knox dock icon, choose quit,

then it quits from the dock and appears in the menu bar

without further problems



I still believe it shouldn't bounce in the dock prior to laoding in the menu bar

(I understand from previous posts I amde, that you folks are working on this)

Thanks Gilles. I think I found a solution for this. I am playing with it now but it is a big change so we'll need at least a day to test this before pushing the new version.

I think I have this fixed now. The current Knox release doesn't have support for betas so if you want to try the new beta you'll have to install it manually:

Our internal testing has gone very well so far and we'll likely promote the final 2.0.3 release tomorrow.

very nice,

no more Dock bouncing

and no more "mourning" black box under the menu bar item

just a nice shine of blue in the Knox briefcase



Great job, for the cosmetic side

and I am sure you work under the hood also

as it does not get stock in the dock anymore

I'm going to publish 2.0.3 today. If you would like to continue trying the betas, be sure to enable Betas in the Knox > Preferences > Version window.
