I saw the reference to the JSONRepresentation problem in the Release Notes for 3.8.3.

Is this something that would show up in a Spotlight search for JSONRepresentation? If not, can you give some more details about how users should go about looking for this? E.g., what are the locations of all log files where this might show up?

Also, the phrase "securely remove" in the Release Notes is a bit vague. Some percentage of your users may not know how to securely empty the Trash, and an even greater percentage will not know how to delete items from Time Machine backups. I recognize of course that there are many kinds of backups, and nobody would expect you to write a treatise on the subject, but given the prominence of Time Machine in the Mac world I would argue that it merits a mention.

(Doing my best here to live up to my moniker.)

Is 1Password working normally for you? This phrase may appear in a log file, but I believe we have corrected the cause. If you have an item that can reliably reproduce such an error log I would be interested in having a look.

Program is working; that's not the issue. There was something in the release notes about a possible security leak in log files, but there wasn't enough info in the release notes to allow me to understand what to do look for, and how to respond depending on what I find.
