Firefox integration elegancy vs Chrome
Fore some reasons I switched from Chrome to Firefox. One of the striking surprises was that when starting to use Firefox is that the integration of 1password is non-self explanatory. (please refer to the manual) Maybe it's OK for those who have been using firefox from the beginning, but I still have problems with it due to following reasons:
1. Visual integration/ergonomics. it is in a sub menu: not very ergonomic and hard to find -> different to chrome where it's a top icon. You always see it. With a firefox add-on this could be solved like pearltrees does. It's just too many activities for such simple actions.
2. Searching a password/login: Some pages use the same login and password as other pages, but you really need to take the detour over the 1password full application. No chance to do this from firefox (or I did not find the manual)-> you need to go to the 1password application which I normally do not like to use. I like to search for information where I need it and not to go the another application for it. In Chrome I like the solution, but Firefox......It takes sometimes minutes to get to the info.
(nevertheless, Chrome has it's problems as well, e.g. some pages do not get recognised....)
I hope this gives some Idea for better firefox integration. Nevertheless I really like 1Password.

1. There is also a toolbar button for Firefox: http://help.agilebits.com/1Password_Windows/missing-1P-button.html
2. In Firefox, there is "Search" button in the 1P extension. Also, there is a button labelled "go and fill login" on the Logins tab.Flag 0 -
Hi Stefan,
ad. 1. Thanks, the button works great !! <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /> I am using a 64bit W7 system and it works fine !! (I think Firefox is 64bit as well)
ad. 2. search can be made, but the "go and fill login" goes directly to the page. I can't search then do copy/paste when I want to use the login/password for another site, and need to take the detour I mentioned....

Welcome to the forum, Dirk!
All the 1Password extensions for all the supported browsers on both Mac OS X and Windows are under consideration for redesign in future releases, with an eye to greater similarity of experience across them all.
We hope you'll like what we come up with, and we thank you for your patience.
By the way, I hope you won't mind my recommending that you take a few minutes to read the Introduction, Getting Started, and Tutorials sections of the user's guide. They're short, and they'll give you the information you need to get up to speed quickly. As you use 1Password for Windows, we believe you'll find the FAQ section to be a useful resource, too.Flag 0
