Is 1Password for iPhone/iPad dead?

Hey there, dian! Welcome to the forums! <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />
1Password for iOS is alive and well. We are currently preparing for the impending release of iOS5. Good catch on the company name. This is, unfortunately, rather complicated. We looked into this earlier and it was not possible at the time to simply change the company name on the account. Hopefully this will be possible in the future. Another consideration is that we don't want to mess anything up for folks who bought 1Password for iOS previously by making changes to our developer account or the app itself.
Thanks for bringing this up. If you have any other questions, please let me know. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />Flag 0 -
The most famous acquistion - that Tweetie being acquired by Twitter Inc. showed it is possible to change the company name. I just looked up my purchase history on iTunes store, finding that all the receipts that related to Tweetie (by atebits) had been replaced with Twitter inc. So I guess you still have chances to do so. ;pFlag 0

Interesting. I am not able to see Tweetie in my purchase history or in the App Store itself. My understanding was that Twitter pulled it when they released the Twitter app (a separate one) from their own developer account. Regardless, It is not a quick process. it would be nice if we could simply edit it in an online form, but it's a bit more involved than that. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />
We'll see what we can do going forward, but I suspect Dave and Roustem would rather spend time developing the next update than fighting with iTunes Connect bureaucracy. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />Flag 0 -

Yes it actually happened! Not redirecting user to a separate update, but using the original Tweetie app id.
I took a screen shot of my purchase history, twitter acquired Tweetie on April 9, 2010. I purchased Tweetie on Feb. 2010. (see screen shot below). That time the official twitter client hadn't come out right? <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /> And I clearly remembered the item in this receipt was Tweetie - seller atebits (besides, that time tweetie was a paid app, and official twitter client is free since the very beginning). So I guess it was pretty interesting and maybe you need to make some contact with apple using some written materials.
Note: What I mentioned here is Tweetie iPhone, not Tweetie mac because twitter acquired atebits before Apple launching Mac app store, so it is not possible to see the purchase history of Tweetie Mac on App store.

Thanks for following up on this (and providing that screenshot)! As I mentioned, it is possible, but it is not simple and takes some time. Thanks for being as passionate about AgileBits as we are. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_bigsmile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-D' />Flag 0
