firefox extension problems

Every time I shutdown Firefox the browser extension disappears. Why? Firefox 6.0.2 (and earlier). Just a comment: Agile has manage to take one of the best products available and turn it into one of the worst. You guys must be geniuses. How soon before you go out of business?

    Hi GaryP,

I'm sorry that you feel that way about the new extension. I can understand why you feel that way but we're working around the clock to improve the extension to be much better and we're aware that it is taking a bit too long. We had to redevelop the extension from the ground up for a lot of reasons and because of the overhaul, there are a lot of growth pains that everybody is going through. We wish we didn't have to do this but we do in order to support the next several Firefox upgrades which are now coming every 6 weeks instead of yearly where we could have enough time to be ready for it.

As for the extension disappearing, this is not normal at all. From what we heard, there are other extensions that force it out but we haven't narrow it down to which one yet.

Do you tell Firefox to clear itself when you shut it down?

    When the extension disappears,

Can you still use the keyboard shortcut to open 1Password to fill in, Like "Command + \"?

Please open Firefox and go to its Tool Menu > Addons > Extensions, is 1Password on list?

If yes, please go to View Menu > Toolbars > Customize, locate the 1Password button and drag it back onto the toolbar. Restart Firefox and see if that'll stick.

If not, do you have an anti-malware solution on your Mac? Please install the Firefox again from here:
Please let me know.
