1Password Key Capture Bug

1Password (I conjecture) is trying to prevent keylogging or something. As a result it breaks an app I use: Teleport (http://www.abyssoft.com/software/teleport/)

Furthermore.. it isn't enough to kill 1PasswordAgent, or to unload the LaunchAgent with launchctl... I have to quit any browser that has a 1Password extension and then finally, I can type and have keystrokes pass to the host machine.

Please fix this.... it's unbelievably annoying.

Context:

OS: Mac OSX Lion

Browser: Chrome (canary, beta, and official release)

1Password: Version 3.8.4 (build 31137)

Steps to reproduce:

1. Install Teleport

2. Open browser with extension installed

3. Unlock 1password

4. Now run Teleport and control a host machine

I think it only fails if 1Password is unlocked before teleport.app runs. My guess would be that's because of event propagation, and 1Password tries to stop keyboard event propagation (don't know the cocoa API) and so it only breaks if it was unlocked first. But that is total conjecture.

Welcome to the forums, emery! I'm sorry that you are having trouble with Teleport. Could you tell me what version of Teleport you are using? The Lion-compatble version is still in beta testing as far as I understand it.

You might want to take a look at this thread in the Teleport forums:
