Not working right off the bat... [SOLVED]
Hi,
I just bought the program from the app store, it installed and I ran it and got to the intro screen. When I click on "I am a new user" (I have never used the program before) I can't get past the setting up a master password screen. It will not allow me to create one.
When I try to "change" my password which I have never entered, it tells me my original password is incorrect? wth?
Any idea how to fix this?

Got it working!
Run Terminal. Enter the command:
chmod -RN /var/db/launchd.db/com.apple.launchd.peruser.501/overrides.plist
Now it works perfectly.

I just bought the App for my Mac and I am having the same problem. When I get to the create a master login screen it just sits there when I push continue. I see you Terminal solution but I am not techy and that is way over my head. I found terminal and tried to paste that but it would not work. I just need it to work with something a little simpler. I paid and now I would like it to work.Flag 0

cherrysail:
Copying and pasting "should" work in the Terminal. Try again (and maybe make sure you're in the Terminal when you paste—and, for that matter, in Safari when you copy the text—meaning make sure they are the foremost applications at that time(you can see their names up by the apple)). Failing that, the Terminal will also take a text clipping (hilite the command in Safari and drag it to the desktop, then drag the resulting text clipping into the Terminal window). Don't forget to press Return.
Finally, if all else fails just type the [expletive deleted] command in yourself. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/emoticon-0136-giggle.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='(giggle)' />Flag 0 -
I can cut and paste it but...
This is the response I get in Terminal.
chmod: Failed to clear ACL on file /var/db/launchd.db/com.apple.launchd.peruser.501/overrides.plist: No such file or directory
WTF does that mean? <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_sweating.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='(sweat)' />
Everyone has told me this is the best Passwords program but I am an app level user not terminal level.Flag 0
