Software, is drag and drop broken for PPC programs?
in Mac
Considering that all new releases will be Lion only hence no PPC programs on computers running a new version of 1p perhaps this won't ever be fixed but ....
If I drag and drop software (ie. an application or program) to 1p it will create a new software entry if it is an app that wasn't in 1p or ask me if I want to update or make a new entry if it was. But this doesn't work for any of the PPC only programs I have. Nothing happens when I drop it.
Its easy enough to make a new entry and drag and drop the app onto the picture location to get the icon correct but the other info that shows up automagically when I drag and drop a program that has Intel code in it is more of a PIA to type manually.

Hey there, bsopslinger! I am sorry we missed you. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' />
If you are referring to 1Password grabbing the name, icon, and version information from the application during a drag and drop, this seems to be working. I just grabbed an ancient PowerPC-only version of MPlayer OS X (2.0b9r5 to be exact) off of a backup drive (why do I even have this stuff?) and it worked like a charm.
What OS and 1Password versions are you using, and was it specific apps that weren't working for you in this fashion?
Please let me know. I look forward to hearing back from you. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />Flag 0
