Toolbar button still brings up old version [Answered]

Upgraded to 3.9. Deleted old version to trash. Data file seems to have transferred just fine. When I click on 1P in toolbar, it still brings up old version (3.8.2).

Unfortunately I purchased from MAS first and didn't see the instructions until after I encountered a problem. Can I undo/redo the process w/o losing data; is the 1P button really accessing 3.8.2 which is in the trash, or ??

I am sorry for the confusion. It seems that you are looking at the version of the extension.



Now that extensions are distributed separately, they almost always will have a version different from 1Password application itself. This is because we could update extension without updating 1Password.

Delete and reinstall extension doesn't help.

The extension version is 3.8.2 (this is the latest non-beta extension). This is different from the main application, as the two are updated separately.
