Cannot Purchase on Mac App Store

Hello,

I can't seem to purchase 1Password 3.9 from the Mac App Store. It is kicking back saying that I do not have OS X Lion installed. I have OS X Lion but have not installed it for other reasons.

Is there any way to lock in the $20.00 price or to purchase it without upgrading to OS X Lion yet?

Thanks,

Raymond

    Hi Raymond!

I'm sorry but I do not know a way around the restriction of having to have Lion installed in order to make the purchase.

Unfortunately we are unable to do rain checks on this one.

Log into another Mac running Lion and buy there. You don't have to keep the install but then it'll be attributed to your account.

I've got Lion and Lion Server queued up but my Mac mini can't run it because it shipped with a 32-bit Intel processor. Now I just need to

find a cheap Intel based Mac that came factory fresh with a 64-bit capable processor. Until then Lion and Lion server sit happily waiting for me to

    install them.

Good idea! If you've got a friend or family member with a Mac running Lion this should work. As always, be cautious what computers you are typing (or pasting from 1PasswordAnywhere!) your Apple password into. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />
