App Store version sorta working...

I followed the FAQ and upgraded my old version first and then moved it to the trash. I then downloaded and installed the version front the app store and launch it at which point it asked if "I have already used" which I said yes and pointed it to the file on my dropbox folder 1Password.agilekeychain



I see a brief flash and it seems to do something however if I quit 1password an launch again I get the same dialog asking if I am a new user or if i've used before and I suspect this is not normal? When I launch and point to my Dropbox directory it will work with my Safari for instance to log into this forum but as soon as I quit I have that dialog happen again.



Also when I go to press the 1P extension button in Safari there is a yellow yield sign with an exclamation complaining about 1Password helped is unavailable?



Any tips to fix this is appreciated, I tried uninstalling the app store version also and re-installing but have same problem after paying for the upgrade from my family license.

Hi Al,



This appears to be the same bug a handful of other folks have experienced. Please check out this thread:

For the record, it's Apple's bug, if that's what it is. We've already submitted it to them for evaluation.

Am i the only one who trashed the 3.8 version then downloaded the 3.9 from MAS, ran it and after 5 secons i was prompted for the password. The new version seems to have recognized and found the previous 1password database and copied it automatically without asking me to select one.

bwoodruuff, thanks for the info and after shutting down the new MAS version and running[font=monospace][color=#000000] [/color][/font]the following from terminal all is well:

Things seems fine, did notice after doing this that the "do not launch" URL mentioned something about a delay...I noticed the dock icon bounced for about 20 seconds and all is well now...thank you!

For anyone else following along, if 1Password fails to launch or gets stuck at the master password creation screen, please try using this slightly different Terminal command which should resolve the issue in even more cases:



[CODE]chmod -N /var/db/launchd.db/com.apple.launchd.peruser.`id -u`/overrides.plist[/CODE]
