Go and Fill Not Working [Dock menu is broken in 3.9]

I just downloaded new software from Mac App store. It seemed to gather all my information as I was already running 1 Password. When I right click the 1Password icon and then try to "Go & Fill" -- the accounts are grayed out and I can't get to them anymore. So, I then have to log in to the whole program and figure out how to get to the account. I can't use the new software until this is fixed or tell me what I am doing wrong. I went back to using the old software! HELP!

Hi Tami,



Go and Fill will be grayed out if 1Password is locked. You can unlock it either by right clicking on it's icon on the dock, or on the helper icon in the menu bar, and selecting unlock.

I'm not sure if this is the same problem or not: I can right-click on the dock icon and it offers me 'go and fill' as an option, and the submenu gives me all my folders and so on, but all the actual individual logins are greyed out. 1Password is definitely unlocked.

You are right, it a bug in version 3.9. I am going to fix it in the next update.



Until it is fixed, please use the menu in 1Password menu bar instead:

I couldn't help but notice the Growl item in your menu bar. Is it just me, or are Growl notifications for 1Password 3.9 Data File backups not working? I used to get notifications upon backup commencement and completion previously.

I have growl installed and configured as well and I'll be honest I've never noticed a notification from 1Password. The backups are no longer user-configurable, their location and frequency is hard coded, so I'm not sure how valuable growl notifications would be.

Fair enough. I'm just so used to seeing it that It's become a little disconcerting now that I'm not seeing it. I guess it was a visual cue that my backups were actually regularly occurring.

I can confirm that Go & Fill is not working from the Dock icon only from the menu bar icon. Also auto submit is not working and this is on a site that has both user name and password fields on the same page.
