1PW PC <-> Android not aligned, but sync is ok

Hi,

First I started using 1PW on my 3 PC's, which works flawlessly.



I am also running 1PW on my 2 android devices. a) HTC HD android 2.3, <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cool.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='B)' /> Viewsonic s10 android 3.2



On the PC's I have 72 items in 1PW, but on the andoid devices I have only 38 items.

Sync on the android devices goes on errorfree, but I still only have 38 items.

And it is not the first items that are missing. They are even spread out.

I tried to uninstall 1PW on the android devices and reinstall, but no difference.



1PW datafiles are located in Dropbox.



Any idea's, because this is quite annoying.

Hi,

Just got it working. I was wondering why no Wallet items was visible on the android devices. Updated one of the wallet creditcards by changing the number. Waited until dropbox was updated. Sync'ed the android devices .. and guess what, sync said 78 new items (huh ?). Changed the number back again and did another sync and it was also okay.

Still don't understand why and how to avoid it in the future ...

We've seen that behavior a couple of times. It appears Dropbox just occasionally needs a kick in the pants. Some folks hare reported that either quitting and relaunching Dropbox or restarting their computer has the same effect. Editing an item and then reverting the changes is probably just as quick though. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

Hey Meliora,



If you don't see on your phone an item you've created on 1Password for Window, please open

contents.js file located in <%YOUR_DROPBOX_LOCATION%>/1Password.agilekeychain/data/default folder on our PC

and examine how many items are listed in it.



If there is a discrepancy in number of items you see on your Android phone and on your computer, your keychain (1Password Data File ) may be corrupted and you need to rebuild it using "Rebuild Data File" option on your Mac/PC. (rebuilding makes all items written to context.js file).



Another way is to rename contents.js file located in <%YOUR_DROPBOX_LOCATION%>/1Password.agilekeychain/data/default folder on our PC and then repair your keychain. This should re-create a contents.js file with correct list of items.

It doesn't really matter if you place a keychain file (folder) on phone's SD card or use Dropbox sync.

Once contents.js file is in sync with actual number of files in your keychain, they will all be visible on the phone.
