chrome extension not accepting master password - firefox plugin won't work

Safari didn't give me any problems but although I have downloaded and installed the chrome extension multiple times successfully, when I try to activate the 1Password extension nothing happens. The window just locks and I have to force quit chrome.



Also when I try to download the firefox extension/plugin it says that 1Password is not compatible with my version of firefox - but I have the most updated version.



So how do I sort this out?

try using the beta chrome extension, it works fine for me <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

thanks - the beta worked for Chrome but not for Firefox - any thing else I can do?

Can you tell me your version of Firefox? There were so many Firefox updates recently, I am getting confused all the time.
