Dropbox: What does this actually mean? [Answered]

From the Official Answers post I read:
If you choose to sync your 1Password data using the free Dropbox service, the 1Password data file must live in a fixed folder of your Dropbox storage and the Dropbox folder *must be* located in your OS X account's home folder.
I'm unsure what this actually means. In reading over a few of the posts on the board here is appears that my 1Password data file must be at the root of my Dropbox folder. Is this correct? I currently store the data file in a folder named "1Password" (clever, I know) but it appears this will no longer be possible. Is that correct?

So before I upgrade to 1Password 3.9 from the MAS I will need to move my data file out of the folder and store it at the root of my Dropbox folder. Am I understanding that correctly?

Regards,

Michael

So I'm looking the prefs for 1Password... what is going to be the best way for me to move my data file out of the folder it is in at the moment?

  • Preferences>General

    Click on "Chose another"

Pick where you want it to be and 1Password will move it for you.

Thanks. I ended up just making a copy of the original and choosing it. Worked just as well.
