Upgrade to MAS version but 1Password doesn't open after selecting the database in Dropbox [Answe
I started with updating 1Password app on my iMac to the latest version, the actual database is located in my dropbox folder, I deleted then the1Password app from the application folder, went to the MAS store and downloaded v 3.9. Once I opened the new 1Password i had 2 options 1) I am a new user 2) I have already used 1Password. I selected "I have already used 1Password", the window opens where I select the file "1Password.agilekeychain" in my dropbox folder. I clicked open and the 1Password app is actually open (since i can see in the menu bar the 1Password name and can access the Preferences of 1Password) but the actual login window doesn't appear.
I tried several approaches already, restarted, trashed 1Password, re-downloaded from the MAS, installed again, installed 1Password app from their website, installed this one, it worked without any problem. I started over again with trashing the app from the application folder, download from the MAS again, installed, opened, selected the database in my dropbox folder and the result is always the same. This happens on my 27-inch iMac. Interestingly I upgraded on my MBP 15-inch without any problem.
But I am unable to fix this problem which keep me busy since 4 hours without having succeeded.
It would be really helpful if some of you have run into the same problem and can give some solution or advice how to get this fixed. Or ideally Agile themselves can give some advice and solution to fix this issue since it is not possible to send Agile any emails currently.
Thanks much in advance for any help!

Same thing happened to me, no resolution yet. I tried one of the terminal commands that was listed in another post here, but got an error message about an undefined variable or some such thing.Flag 0
